So today I managed to take the last pictures of AR2835. Today I tried to capture some images of the photosphere outside the chromosphere. The image of the entire photosphere disk was taken with a small ED with SW ED72 using 2xBarlow. The second image of the detail of the cavity was taken as a test of the new SW EVOSTAR 150 achromat. H-Alpha was traditionally taken with modified Coronado PST 102/660 and 2xBarlow. Camera ZWO ASI183MM.

That's a great collection of images. Sharp, detailed and nicely processed!

Re: AR2835 H-Alfa and Photosphere.
Hi Pavel,
Can you please send your images as JPEG format of no more than 2Mbytes each, as yours are taking forever to load and assuming they are much more than 2-Mbytes each, will possibly cause SolarChat to have to use adverts to pay for the server - if it runs out of space.
No amount of detail will be lost for JPEG's
(And they still have not come through here)..
Thanks vm
Terry

Hey, Terry, I'm sorry. I have a relatively fast connection and that's why I didn't realise how big the pictures could be. I'll fix itEGRAY_OBSERVATORY wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 7:30 pm Hi Pavel,

Superb!!! I especially like the WL limb shot, I could almost feel myself flying past that in a space ship
