AR2842 and a Filaprom 14-07-2021

Post by Martin_S »

Today I managed to get a quick Solar session (about 10 mins) before the clouds rolled in .These are my best captures taken with my Lunt DS H-alpha
Telescope and ASI174mm camera. The quality is not great as I was imaging through rolling clouds . The good thing is I got my first Solar session in over 2 weeks.

I love the filaprom closup, Martin! I cannot see the connection between prom and filament at all at the low power of my Coronado SMII60.

Excellent captures Martin, with fab colouring and the Triple-tree proms have come out very well.

Thanks for sharing

Great shots, Martin. Glad that your two weeks without the Sun are over.
