The Sun - 14 July 2021

Post by David_The_Bears_Fan »

Skies cleared again today so had to make the most of it. Seeing was a bit up and down but just glad of the scope-time. Today's session was mostly about experimantation - continued to work on H Alpha full disks using the Evostar / Quark / Reducer as well as trying a 6 pane full disk pano in white light. I've tried white light pano's in the past but they usually failed to stitch. Not sure why this one worked but it did! Also shot my Ca-K full disk using the reducer. It's not quite a full disk but very close.

An excellent set David, I see there is a small spot group developing to the left of AR12842 :bow :hamster:
