Full Disk and a couple of animations through haze 7/15/2021

Post by rigel123 »

Seeing was just too good to let a bit of hazy cloud cover keep me from doing a bit of imaging. Apologies for the flashing sky background in the prom animation as the haze thickened and thinned all throughout the capture time. A bit of surge activity from a small area on the SE limb has been active for a couple of days now. You can just see the pinpoint light spot in the full disk image. That one is 30 minutes in real time, the NW tree proms animation is 1 hour in real time. Thanks for looking! Lunt LS60T DS, ASI174MM

Very nice, the prom animation was very soothing to watch, I think it hypnotised me :) I think I could watch for hours. That's a great surge on the SE, it must be something coming round :bow :hamster:
