Sun in Ha 16th July 2021

Post by Carbon60 »

Hi all,

It was late morning when the sky cleared of lingering mist and by that time things were warming up making the conditions tricky for capturing quality close views of our Sun.

Anyhow here's a montage of the main proms around the limb and a view of AR12842.

I'm hoping for an early start tomorrow and better conditions.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Excellent! thanks for the views Stuart, it looks like you and I were under the only cloud in the whole of England this morning. I was hoping for a view this morning, it is OK to set up between 8am and a quick capture by 9.30am as no one notices. By 11am, no chance. Hopefully tomorrow I can get first light with the Solar Spectrum :)

Stu, these are great shots, wow! Taking off my hat. FD shot on a triple stacked Lunt60? A close-up?
