The hi-resolution SDO image attached is showing that, as was reported yesterday, approaching the S.E.Limb, a large active region could well be interesting.
Well it is, as just on that limb can be seen a large AR (unnumbered as yet)...

Thanks Terry, been observing it in CaK this morning, can't decide if it is a pair of spots or a spot divided by a light bridge. I couldn't see any jets etc coming from it so maybe it's quiescent...

I agree Mark, it's often difficult to define when so close to the limb, as really we are looking at these - sideways...
