24.07.2021 Between clouds

Post by Rusted »

I am a martyr to clouds this morning but at least I could see the sun. [However briefly!]
The Baader 1.25x GPC is still just behind the PST etalon. It seems to help spread the goodness.
Three quick ones before it became impossible to focus properly. Mush + thermal agitation, then overcast.
800x800 frame size in SharpCap with the 2x TS GPC on the ASI174 camera nose. AS!3 + ImPPG + PhotoFilte7.

Thanks. :bow

It's been a real struggle to grab a 5 second gap.

I have added a later image from 11.51 after the sun showed itself again.
A bit more detail than earlier. Including some interesting, circular "curls" to the west.

Thank you all for your encouragement. :bow

The seeing conditions were so poor I could not judge best focus on the monitor. Just guesswork. ;)
