This image was the result of a salvage mission. I planned only to take out my Lunt152 and align a new solar finder since the sky was full of both hazy clouds and puffy clouds. When I scanned the sun for proms, I just barely saw the wispy features of this very large prom. It would have stood out better if the conditions were more suitable. I decided to record a few files to see what would result.
I used my LS152 in single stack with a 4X telecentric as a barlow + a Blackfly S 2.3Mp camera. Thanks to AstraImage and using a lot of contrast enhancements in PS the image below emerged (in 3 views).
