Good to see more action from AR2850 today and this is being joined by another Southern AR at the S.E.Limb.
If only our weather here would allow the obvious...
Cheers
Terry

Re: AR2850 IS GROWING IN SIZE FAST - TODAY 3-8-2021
Thanks James, same here till late afternoon, so looking at the weather satellite, showed a clear evening and night till 0100z/0200BST at least, where I am still in the observatory, after shooting 11+Gbytes of Saturn, Jupiter and its' moons.
Saturn at almost opposition and Jupiter are well-bright and the big-red spot is captured too.
Tried various tele's but not used any filters yet, as primarily this session was to see how the newbie S/W ESPRIT performs, even though the atmosphere seemed a little turbulent especially at high magnification..
Also this might dictate the need for a different camera, where my StarlightXpress HX916 might satisfy for better imaging through the new Win-XP Pro PC here...
Classic-FM radio kept me company with all sorts of Classics...
Looks like I've got a ton of processing to do tomorrow, as too-tired to start that tonight.
Besides, some grub-up before kipping...
And looks like more cloud for S.E.England on Wednesday, so no worries, there's much to do.
Have a good night
Regards
Terry

Thanks Stu and I guess that with just AR2850 still showing 5-spots this morning as it near the S.W.Limb, we will just have to wait for something more to come..
