4-8-2021 AR2850 STILL HAS FIVE-SPOTS..

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

I was hoping that AR2850 would unleash some extra action, but maybe that will occur on the far-side.

The S.E.AR appears very quiet, but a closer look does suggest that spots may emerge in due course.

Even proms are quite shallow...

CLEAR SKIES

Thanks Franco, Mark, Brian and Maurits.

Yes Mark - apparently down to 4-spots now, but the S.E.AR does have 1 and half spots !!

Also, it does look as if some action in both north and south regions will start to occur in 2/3-days, so all is not lost..

Thanks James.
Weather here quite good this afternoon and clear and cloudy skies, but was working on the mini-observatory bits before the build, so I still have to start processing last-night's Saturn and Jupiter captures...

Cheers
Terry
