Great animation, wonderful details and love the sinuous movement in that large filament! Great job!

Very nice indeed, Arne.

Superb closeup view.

How do you find the ASI 1600mm PRO? Can you see/image the disk and proms at the same time (maybe if you adjust gamma)? I'm looking at purchasing one for myself (for use on my Lunt 60 + 2.5x PM FDs), but I'd be interested to know if the dynamic range is adequate. I can easily see both disk and proms on my Basler cameras without resorting to multiple exposures.

Thank you very much for your kind comments Terry, Warren, Mark and Stu.

Stu: I'm very happy with the ASI 1600mm Pro. I can certainly see both disc and prom features if I adjust gamma slightly. All my FD images with this setup (Sky-90II, Coronado 90mm frontfilter + BF 15, Coronado Cemax 2x) are single recordings with neutral gamma setting and processed to show both disc and prom details.

Please don't hesitate to ask if you would like to have access to some raw recordings or stacked (but not processed) images to help you with your decision process!

Best regards,
Arne

Many thanks, Arne. Please could you send me a stacked image TIFF as a PM?

Much appreciated.
