Full Disk and animation of the Western Limb 8/4/2021

Post by rigel123 »

Also caught an eruptive surge prom on the far left near the end of the animation blasting off behind the limb. Only got 22 minutes for the animation with clouds moving in. Seeing was once again very good. Lunt LS60T DS, ASI174MM.

Nice FD and animation, Warren. The FD is under sampled on the 174 chip, so you're losing some details, but it looks evenly tuned and you're capturing the filaments, proms and filaproms nicely.

Thanks Stu! Yeah, I live with the under sampling as my FD’s are more for reference as to where features are and use most of my imaging time on animations.
