Sun in H-Alpha and 15th of August 2021
Dear friends,
After some rain in the early morning it cleared for about an hour and half. This was just enough time to take a few close-up images in H-Alpha (including the monster prom). Unfortunately it didn't stay clear long enough to get FD images in CaK and H-Alpha.
H-Alpha image using an Explore Scientific AR152, Baader 2" 35nm H-Alpha (as ERF), Daystar Quark H-Alpha Chromosphere and ASI ZWO 174mm camera. Sun in H-Alpha 15th of August 2021 - Huge prominence on the NE limb
Sun in H-Alpha 15th of August 2021 - Huge prominence on the SE limb
Sun in H-Alpha 15th of August 2021 - AR2857
Sun in H-Alpha 15th of August 2021 - Activity near AR2857
Sun in H-Alpha 15th of August 2021 - Departing AR2856
As usual click on links to view full size images.
Thanks for looking,
Arne
