20-8-2021 New AR's APPROACHING/AT THE N.E. & S.E.

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

:hamster:
Both North-East and South-East Limbs are experiencing the beginnings of quite large Active Regions over the next few-hours and 2/3-days.

Not known at present whether any spots or flares are definitely occurring from either of these, but the SDO and STEREO images do seem to show activity...

Also of note is a very long prom in the far N.E., much higher than normal.. :girl:

Maybe some Sodium images in due course...

Terry

Thanks James and for your excellent observations too over the last many months.
Of course we now know that the N.E. and hopefully the S.E. is providing us with some much needed activity.

Cheers
Terry
