Sol from the 26th of August 2021.
Hi:
Cloudy but with big holes in the clouds, so had the chance to get more images before it clouded totally and rained.
We have 2 hurricanes hitting México, so today (27th) was not possible to image at all.
Thanks for looking and wish you all a sunny and safe weekend.
Eric.

Eric,
Your images may be technically over sharpened a bit but somehow you pull it off without the images looking overly brittle. There's certainly not a detail missed in your images.
Nice work and stay safe from those storms. We have one forecast for mid next week.

Thanks Guys for looking and commenting.
James, yes I have a tendency to oversharpen my images most of the time, but when I see it I try to bring it back a bit so it is not too molesting.
When I started taking solar shots, (in the early 50´s) we used high contrast films and some spectroscopic films to get the most of our images, so we got soft but contrasty images, focusing and setup quality gave better results, though most of us made our setups so we focused more on focusing the image the best possible way.
When digital imaging came, I still kept trying to get the best focusing possible, but the newer softwares had new ways of sharpening our results, so it was very easy to oversharpen our shots, so now I am trying to back it off a bit.
So thank you for your comments, that is the only way to improve our results.
Wish you and all a nice weekend.
Eric.

Very interesting and large set of images, Eric. They are all incomparable, detailed and beautiful. Most of all I liked the first, the combination of surface and proms in the calcium line is very unusual and looks great.

Eric,
Wow, since the early 50s. You've seen a lot of change in this hobby of ours my friend. I got into it during the late 1970s and you had been going even at that time over two decades. You make me feel young again my friend!
Blessings
James
