Sunday Sun August 29th 2021

Post by Carbon60 »

Another beautiful morning and another solar session :), but that looks like it for a little while given the weather report. No rain in the forecast for the week, just clouds to spoil the fun!

The usual FDs in Ca II K and Ha.

The most impressive region remains AR12860.

Here it is imaged at 540nm on my Tecnosky 125 fitted with a Lacerta wedge and filter.

and in Ha on the 150mm/Lunt 35 mod in mono and colour.

Thanks for looking.

I'll have to move to your half of England Stu, cus for two days you have the clear skies - that only I had for the first hour or so...

Excellent set of captures

Cheers

Very nice captures Stu. All of them. But that being said, the colored Ca II K and the last colored Ha images are my favorites. Much info are shown in these.

Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful set Stuart :bow :hamster: especially the bright ring which is very prominent in the WL close up. I had sunshine up until 9am Sunday morning, the exact time the Sun comes over the tree :(
