Monthly solar challenges
What sparked this idea recently was when someone said about a sketching solar challenge on my sketching post.
If I set up a monthly solar challenge would anyone be interested? I was thinking as educational and fun. Maybe, it could be each month look out for something, or try something, then post your efforts to the challenge etc.
It is just an idea and if popular I will start it up in September. Let me know if you have any ideas for challenges as well?

Re: Monthly solar challenges
Unfortunately I can't sketch at all, with enough else to complete too.

Re: Monthly solar challenges
Thanks guys, not just sketching, you can image, sketch or even describe but it will be a certain feature to specifically look for.
But, I bet you could spend 5 minutes and sketch what you see, you would be surprised. We all aren't Van Gogh, but we all can use a pencil

Re: Monthly solar challenges
OK, not much interest but I'll start one for tomorrow anyway and give it a try for month and see if it is a winner or a looser

Re: Monthly solar challenges
Hi Alexandra,
I’m happy to give it a go. I’ll use previous images to sketch from.
Stu.
