2021-09-03 - Lunchtime HA session
A rare occasion of decent weather here today, so decided to squeeze in a quick imaging session over lunch. I was a bit pressed for time, so stuck to HA only.
AR2863 and the unnumbered region on the eastern limb (lets just call it 2864) are looking quite nice.
Setup: 150mm achromat @ 120mm f/15, Quark Chromosphere, Baader 35nm H-Alpha, ASI174.
Thanks for looking.

Re: 2021-09-03 - Lunchtime HA session
If you are referring to the AR in the N.E. Jochen, this is the Ar that did produce a spot a couple of days ago for just a day and has now woken-up with a with a number of spots. There is doubt as to the current numbering referred to as AS2864 & AR2865 at 20:00z, so we can wait for a few hours to see the correct numbering..
Thanks for your excellent captures.

Thanks all.
Cheers Terry, much appreciated! I have to admit that I haven't been keeping up with what's happening solarwise lately (side effect from the weather not allowing to do much myself so far this year I suppose).EGRAY_OBSERVATORY wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 8:45 pm If you are referring to the AR in the N.E. Nice captures Jochen, your 150mm achromat and Quark Chromosphere is a great setup.

Thanks Jochen and there seems to have been some confusion elsewhere yesterday evening, but today its' all changed with lots to see - if we both have some clear weather, which is unlikely for us to your west...
Cheers
