AR2860 bids farewell with a bit of fireworks 9/3/2021

Post by rigel123 »

AR2860 put on a nice show yesterday morning. The animation represents 45 minutes in real time captured with the Lunt LS60T DS and ASI174MM with a Meade 3X Barlow. Image was rotated 90 degrees CCW for viewing purposes. It's a bit bouncy due to variations in seeing during capture of the AVI's.

Oh yes Warren - a superb animation whilst saying goodbye AR2860, the one that gave us so much interest.. It might live another time when it revolves back...

Thanks for the effort.

Terry

And another animation of the same area earlier in the day when numerous clouds were around. You can tell from the frames when the clouds briefly passed by!
