Sun FD in H-Alpha and CaK 1st of September 2021 - Huge filaprom
Dear friends,
On September 1st I was taking advantage of some nice clear morning sky to make some FD images of the Sun in H-Alpha and CaK. There was quite a bit of activity with some nice big prominences. By chance I checked the GONG network in the afternoon and now a huge prominence had appeared at the SW limb. I quickly setup my portable solar kit and started imaging. There was quite a bit of cirrus-clouds which reduced the contrast and made the sky background bright, but I'm very happy that I managed to get some images of this action.
