MORE WOW's for the Sun today at last 5-9-2021
At last a successfully clear-skies over S.E.England today allowed me to get to grips with the three of four light scenarios - now installed on the AZ-EQ6 mount.
I needed to try out the ZWO ASI-120MC-S camera in mono mode to be able to sort-out an issue from a few days ago, which I believe I have done and this is primarily for the Sodium Quark captures.
Also the Quark with the Sky-Watcher 'Esprit' ED80 Triplet does not allows for FD imaging, so trials with Focal Reducers has somewhat failed to allow that, but no worries, as close-up's of the action is still fine and just one 0.5FR seems to be about the best option otherwise.
So for this rare-occasion of so much activity and certainly the most impressive in Cycle #25 so far for the quantity at least, allowed me to have a totally clear sky from mid-day onwards to spend as much time as needed, to clear-up so more points.
Enjoy and thanks for looking
Terry
