AR2868 on a blustery day (Sept 6)

Post by gabrieli »

I had planned to test my final DS configuration today with a Solar Spectrum 0.5Å filter coupled with a Quark Combo
Chromosphere. The SS filter has a built in blocker and the Quark would have its blocker removed.

I started imaging with an intact Quark in single stack and imaged AR 2868 at about f23 under very windy conditions as the rain clouds approached from the west. Soon after I packed up, there were a few brief sprinkles of rain and then clouds were left covering most of the sky. I didn't have a chance to test the DS combination today. Tomorrow looks better.

Lou

Here's today's products (SS only, no DS due to weather)
