This is mostly to say hi to all!!!
I hope you had a nice summer or winter and wish you all a nice new season.
I am back from our summer expeditions offshore, where we had some exciting encounters with the sperm whales and other cetaceans despite their continuously decreasing population trends... :-( Back to solar, but obligations won't allow me probably to often enjoy the sun and solarchat with all of you... At least not as much as last spring and beginning of summer. :-(
Since I came back, the seeing is horrible; some days because of the Jetstream and others because of low layers and winds. Therefore, the last two days I tried only composite FDs of 8 photos. WL FDs did not want to photo-merge properly... (at least not with photoshop and a few freeware that I tried; if you are aware of some software that is really successful even in difficult cases as WL please let me know)
All photos with Lunt130MT.

Hello Alexandros.
Welcome back to the world of SolarChat.
These images are excellent and you have merged them very well as composites.
I understand from others that Photoshop is more than capable of merging-images like or better than yours, but certainly another program is also very capable to do exactly the same, but much cheaper than Photoshop..
That is PaintShopPro by COREL. = A one-off payment - far less than Photoshop's annual-fees, gets you a program that is now rated as good as or even better than Photoshop.
I have been using PaintShopPro's versions up to 2018 for many years and use it for all of my own image processing and not just astro-wise..
The only way to truely gain the knowledge of which is better (and any other similar programs), is to actually be using both to compare, so other comments on SolarChat do verify my own experience...
