I enjoyed a long, warm day of almost clear blue skies.
These are this afternoon's crop of ARs.

Re: 9.09.2021 Today's crop.
Thank you.
I had a problem with AS!3 or ImPPG today. Or could it be the ASI174MM?
Every time I opened an AS!3 processed image in ImPPG it was pre-sharpened.
So I was forced to use default settings in ImPPG.
The slightest hint of any adjustment in ImPPG and the image broke out in spots.
I deleted AS!3 and reloaded it but there was no change. I never [ever] choose "Sharpen" in AS!3.
Just as I never change Lucy-Richardson in ImPPG from the 1.3 default.
Changing either would result in hideous measles.
I routinely use 2 for noise and 16 for AP in AS!3. Regardless of noise or thermal agitation.
I use 2.6 for Sigma and 1.3 for Amount.
These setting almost always produce the best results for my "close-ups."

Good results Chris, looks like the etalon is back behaving again.
Sounds like you had the sharpen button ticked in AS3 to me...

I am having to crop up to 1/3 of the 912x912 frame to be rid of the unwanted areas.
Cropping enlarges the remaining image area. Which is not always ideal for quality. Rarely desirable for composition.
The Sharpen button in AS!3 is not pressed. I tried it [only] once and didn't like it!

Re: 9.09.2021 Today's crop.
Very nice images, Chris. If you select sharpen, AS!3 produces and saves two images, one unsharpened and one sharpened, so it would be easy to check. Maybe some of the presets have been changed in some way? Odd, though, if you’ve reloaded the program, as all should be reset to their nominal values, of course.

Re: 9.09.2021 Today's crop.
Thank you both.
AS!3 defaulted to maximum noise 8 and 72 AP size.
So it definitely loaded a fresh version.
I routinely use Noise 2 and 16 AP size.
