A very entertaining day on Sept 13(image added)

Post by gabrieli »

I used my LS152 double stacked with a Quark combo on the end of a 3X telecentric for the session. This double stack did a good job of getting rid of the double limb. The LS152 turned out to be a good choice since the seeing deteriorated severely by the time I set up my 180 Mak which turned out to be unuseable.

Lou,
All of these are really gorgeous! I especially love the cross filaments and the filaprom. The colored filaprom image is really nice? Did you ever do a colored one of the inverted cross filament?

Thanks for posting these!

James

That is a very unusual shape for a filament, I would love to see the magnetic structure of that :hamster: :bow

These are good Lou, it's nice to have a range of apertures to choose from.

Great images, Lou. So unusual to see a cruciform filament formation. Very interesting.
