NE prominence of 9-11,12 2021. SDOAIA304 video

Post by DeepSolar64 »

This 48 hour video clip taken by the SDO AIA304 instrument shows well the rise and fall of that nice filament on the NE limb on 9-11-21 into 9-12-21.

Notice that void or bubble that goes through the plasma before it's re-absorbed by the Sun!

I thought this video extremely interesting. It gave a very good record of the rise and fall of that wonderful but short lived prominence. Terry, I still haven't been able to actually see a CME here. It appears all the matter in the prom got drawn back into the Sun.

Goodnight everyone! or good Morning/Good Day wherever you are.

Solar dynamics, yes! There's nothing like a good animation to show it. Stills only can go so far.
