SSL Certificate warning problem...ggrrrr1

Post by solarchat »

Our SSL certificate expires on September 16th and is supposed to auto renew.

The site started showing that it was expired today-Sept 15th,. grrrr....

I just called and manually paid the $769 to renew the SSL for another 5 years and Network Solutions says it may take 24 hours and they are "sorry" for the problem.

P.S. SSL certificates are what allows the site to be accessed by the "https://" address and are nothing more than an additional ransom paid to the hosting companies to allow your site to be visited without all the canned browser security warnings about it not being safe or whatever. It is a completely useless scam for web hosts to have to pay more money. Please ignore any warnings you may have gotten as nothing on the site has changed and I have paid the ransom.

Have a nice day...

Stephen

Thanks Stephen, I hope you get plenty of donations this month to pay for it.

Hopefully solarchatters can see why we do fundraisers...
