09.28.21 Sun in Lunt50 mod
Hello everyone,
After an almost two week break, we had a fairly clear day. I continued to test my mod and experiment with processing. I used colors similar to those used by Pedro, I hope the master will not mind.
The last four sessions were mediocre due to poor seeing and I was not happy with the result, but this time it was much better. All photos were taken using a 2x Barlow lens.
I have fulfilled my old dream to assemble a large-scale mosaic. I assembled it from 10 fragments. The visibility of course changed in the process, but I am quite happy with the result.
I also shot several ARs at approximately 1.5 hour intervals and there are some changes visible.
Thanks for watching this. I will continue to appreciate your criticism and comments. Full resolution FDs is available if you open the picture in a new tab and enlarge.

Nice shots.
I used to do full disc mosaics so I remember the varing results across the disc and the missing bits due to cloud.
Good luck with them.

Pedro may be the master but you are quite good in your own right. All of these look really good. None of my disc images even come close.
And yes, your first two images do resemble Pedro's!
Two thumbs up my friend!

Re: 09.28.21 Sun in Lunt50 mod
Very nice images Ivan !
But please can you clarify your optical image system, as I am not sure what a Lunt50 mod is. Is it a 50mm blocking filter from Lunt ?
What ERF/telescope was it ??
Looks like a 120mm telescope to me !!!!!
Thanks.
Magnus.

Re: 09.28.21 Sun in Lunt50 mod
Magnus, thanks for your feedback.
My telescope has a 90mm aperture, but I used a Barlow × 2 lens.
Mod (modification) is the connection of the etalon and the blocking filter with a suitable night telescope. In my case, these are Lunt50 and William Optics Megrez 90. You can read in more detail and competently in this section, all possible modifications are described here: viewforum.php?f=9
Filip's advice and a description of his mod helped me build my mod:
