Prom grouping on Oct 1

Post by gabrieli »

I haven't had one haze free day this season. This day was no exception. There were 2 major prom groupings but I could manage to record video files for only one of these groups before the haze became too thick. I wish I could have imaged the one with the filaprom. I'm hoping for another chance tomorrow.

For the images below, I used a double stacked LS152 at 3800mm on a 5.1 Mp Blackfly S. This combination seems like an
ideal combination.

Re: Prom grouping on Sept 30

Lou,
Was this Sept 30 or October 1 ? This looks like October 1st. My observations of of Sept 30 reveal different prom structures there but maybe you imaged later in the day.

These are very nice images! Again, I am a color fan and prefer the bottom image.

Very interesting 3D structure in this prom. On the right it seems to be bobbly, then a smooth arching centre, then back to a bobbly support on the left. It looks like the middle is flopped downwards towards the observer. Very nice indeed :bow :hamster:

Great shot Lou! It looks like an arch that swings down over the surface.

Thanks for the heads up on the date error, James. I've corrected it in this and my other board.
