AR and prom on Oct 2

Post by gabrieli »

I began working with my c9.25 to build a working double stack system.

In single stack mode on the c9.25,the Quark Combo works well as does the PST etalon, though with a less uniform image.
So far, I've found that a double stack module with a PST etalon and Quark Combo works well with some fussing
on my 180 Mak but this same combination doesn't work so well with the c9.25.

Double stacking the Quark Combo with a Lunt 50mm etalon works but the image still shows a double limb.
I'll try a few other combinations with other filters.

The images below were taken in single stack mode with the Quark Combo and c9.25 in a clear sky but with poor seeing.

Lou:
A very nice session and images.
Yes indeed, we are always trying to get our shots better, so experimentation never ends, the same happened to me in that same day´s session, trying and experimenting with my old Chameleon and the SKYnyx 2.2, changing adapters (longer and shorter) and also changing reducers, etc...
Have a good day and keep well.
Eric.
