Hello everyone,

Let me introduce myself: my name is Franck, I live in Paris and I am an observer of the sun in white light for the moment.

I have been reading you for many months with interest and decided to introduce myself and also to present you some examples of images of the sun taken with an ASI 178MM camera and a Maksutov 127/1500 with an Astrosolar 5D solar filter and also a continuum filter :

Sun of July 2, 2021: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dFm0Bw ... sp=sharing
Sunspot n° 2845 of July 21, 2021: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Il--PO ... sp=sharing
Sunspot n° 2846 and 2848 of July 21, 2021: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IjF9ox ... sp=sharing
Sunspot n° 2847 of July 21, 2021: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KF1T1I ... sp=sharing
Sunspot n° 2860 of September 2, 2021: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WJAHcV ... sp=sharing
Sunspot n° 2863 of September 2, 2021: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_n14qI ... sp=sharing

I intend to launch into the Halpha very soon and can buy a Lunt LS50 telescope with the project to make a modification on an APO telescope of 80 mm of focal length 7. I would certainly have some technical questions to ask you.

I apologize for my horrible English and wish you good sun watching.
Franck

Hello Franck.
Welcome to SolarChat and your English is excellent.

Your images are also excellent and very-sharp and the zooming-in facility is an excellent tool in the drive.google.com. that you have used.

I'm sure that any questions you wish to ask us, should be answered by at least one or more of us.

Looking forward to seeing more of your images whilst Solar-Cycle #25 is becoming very active now. and with Ha also showing much activity too.

Best Wishes
Terry
