2th Oct Triiband 8 inch & Sundancer ll

Post by mike_fos »

This is my first post. I came across this forum by chance. I have been reading for over a year and have decided to publish something myself. Briefly about me: As a schoolboy I made sunspot drawings, from 2006 first visually with SM60, from 2011 with a 120 mm Skywatcher ED and used SolarSpektrum Solar Observer Series 1,5 0,65 A. The book Solar Astronomy and the many examples here in Ssolarchat with SCs made me want to use a telescope with 200mm aperture. In addition, Baader Planetarium, which is 50 km away from me, offered to test the new SolarSpectrum Sundancer together with an 8 inch Baader Triband SC. I was very pleased with the quality of the new filter, its compactness, weight and how quickly it can be used. Together with the Triband it made a good combination, so I bought both after the test.
Instrument:

Baader Triband 8 Zoll SC 3x Telecentric, SolarSpektrum SunDancer II Filter HWB = 0.6 A, 0.4x telecompresor ZWO ASI 174

Welcome Mike, your images are superb.
It looks like you have a winner (Sundancer II And Baader Triband SC) in the stable.
