NEW - AR at the S.E.LIMB without spots ? 7-9-2021

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

Quite a large AR is coming over the border at the S.E., but not yet showing any spots.

Hoping I get some sun on Sunday Terry. In the mean time, work on friday, then off on the boat for an overnighter with my brother on saturday - beer, curry, banter...

Thanks to Franco, Alexandra, Mark and Maurits.

Unfortunately AR2881's spots have suddenly decayed, but the big AR2882 certainly does show well instead.

The S.E. AR is still not showing spots, but hey who knows...

Ha ha Mark, You're off with Brov for a food and booze-up at the week-end on the boat eh. Well at least the weather forecast is looking a tad better for your area and hopefully you will still be able to recognise the difference between the Sun and Moon for some images ???
Have a good weekend - regardless.

Terry

Thanks Marios, James and Stu.

Still no sign of any spots in the S.E. AR, but AR2822 is certainly looking good for flares now, so watch that space...

Cheers
Terry
