AR12882 in WL 9-10-2021

Post by Montana »

I had a bit of luck this morning, thick fog as a solar filter. So I was able to capture AR12882 with my camera :hamster:

Looking good there, Alexandra. Seasons of mist and mellow fruitfulness……

This also qualifies for the October challenge. ;)

Wow that's amazing Alexandra. Just like Page 27 in the Solar Astronomy book.

Thanks guys :) I was wondering whether to stick it in the October challenge but it wasn't quite a sunrise, more a fog-morning :)

I could do with cleaning my camera sensor as I am getting two blobs on every photo this holiday :(

These are absolutely beautiful! It's been some time since I have caught naked eye sunspots through the fog. That's a nice farm. Is it near your home?

Enjoy yourself. It's very pretty there. It looks not unlike the farms here in the southern Appalachians.
