October 11 2021 AR12882 Ha C11

Post by LeoD »

Hi all,

That was the last morning on Monday of a sunny dacade I decided to take my chances with hi-res. Within an hour session there were some happy :D moments of the seeing corresponding with C11 aperture, despite the average one as bad as 2-2.5". One of the captures is marked on SSM chart.
Setup: Aries ERF, C11, UV/IR, Quark chromo, focal reducer, 174mm.

Regards
Leo

Excellent work! So sharp and noise free!

This is a clear evidence that a very good seeing can be met almost everywhere on the globe.

Thanks for sharing.

Many thanks to all for kind comments!
Alexandra, that's what I thought at first, but fortunately not. It's rewarding experience with a seeing for me also, indeed.
Wanna share one more, wider picture of the AR with a bit different processing, made of some overlapping images.
Capture and processing: ASI174mm FC, 7.7ms, Gain 128 (32%), 128fps. Stacking 400/5000-8000 in AS3! gives quite a low noise, AstraImage, Ps CC (noise reduction plugin).
thanks for looking
