We are at $10,760 of our $15k goal with 12 days left.
Thanks very much to donors Chris Fernandez, Marcello Bertoldi, Andy Cantwell, Chuck Heller, Ragnar Ulfvens, Pat Forrey, Robert Fera and Sue Murphy for their generous donations to the Fall fundraiser for the Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project/Sunlit Earth!
We have had a total of 103 donations from around the world. Please consider donating to our STEM nonprofit that does so much good for so many people on the tiniest of budgets.
We support solar astronomy outreach in 27 countries around the world, the world's largest internet solar imaging and outreach forum (solarchatforum.com) and several wildlife and conservation efforts here in GA and the US including the Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve and several up and coming environmentalists and photographers.
It's a good thing. Come join us. It's tax deductible.
For those of you who have never donated to a nonprofit for whatever reason, I ask that you look around at the places you go or the causes you admire and respect and try to understand how almost all of these places and things are supported solely by the few volunteers involved with small nonprofits relying on contributors like you for their existence.
You will probably be surprised to find that so many things you love are completely funded and all labor/materials provided by less than 1% of the people who use them. It shouldn't be this way but...Mur'ica.
Please help fund our tiny nonprofit 501c3 or better yet, take your passions and experiences and start your own nonprofit effort. You can directly change lives for the better by getting involved in or supporting something that helps others to bloom to their fullest potential. Our society depends on you.

Many thanks for the latest update Stephen.
It's looking quite-good for now, so let's hope it looks very-good/or better - by the end of this month.
