Nice proms visible today along with AR2887. The left ones were amazing for visual observing. I could see details and empty space between so clearly. Although the atmosphere was boiling and overall seeing was bad.
Taken with Baader D-ERF + TEC 140FL + Baader TZ-3 + Solar Spectrum RG38 0.5A + ZWO ASI 174MM.

The large prominence was quite active today and looks different in it's placement of voids/bubbles in every image I see of it today plus counting my visual view of it. It is one certainly under constant change. I hope someone did an animation of it today.
That's an excellent image of it Alan!!
Two thumbs up!!

Yes, it would be very interesting to see some time lapse of that prom. I hope someone did it.DeepSolar64 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 3:29 am The large prominence was quite active today and looks different in it's placement of voids/bubbles in every image I see of it today plus counting my visual view of it.
