Post-CME Site Still Blasting! Loops! AR2887 et al in high res | Oct 26th 2021

Heya,

After the CME yesterday, there was some great looping that I missed. But there's still some blasting this morning from the site and some nice loops in there still, but feint. I was able to get some passable data with the 150mm this morning around 11am in fair seeing (1 to 1.1 arc-seconds averaged, was not great at this time). AR2887 is still fantastic looking of course. Some new AR's are popped up but nothing big. Whatever blew its top yesterday is still sending out material all over, it's very active, it'll be another 48 hours before we see real well what is all in that area where things are separating, conflicting and reconnecting and blowing up. Watch it be a tiny spot doing all that lol. I hope for a great spot!

Nice work Marty!

I actually found the M class flare a bit of a challenge to see visually. It was more of a light spot. All the plasma it kicked up I feel hid it a bit. I never could see the post flare loops visually. I just caught a low dome shaped prom.
