Sunshine 30th October 2021
First sunshine for a couple of months and the start of the season in the bedroom observatory
This time I tried the ZWO ASI174 with the PSTs but used a 2x barlow to try and get the sampling a bit better. No Newton's rings which was a bonus but I did have to take two images and stitch together. I seem to have a blurred bit to the right of the Halpha pic, there must be something not straight. Overall I was very pleased. Still not happy with my Baader K line filter though, I need to buy a second hand one and compare it to this one as I have never been able to focus properly through it. Anyone got one for sale?

Re: Sunshine 30th October 2021
Hi Alexandra,
I was driving through Cheshire earlier on my way home and thought of you as the Sun was shining through large gaps in the clouds. I thought you’d be imaging
Lovely images showing lots of activity. The bedroom observatory works well.
I have a Baader K-line I’d be more than happy to lend you for as long as you need.

I think these are excellent images and the prom has come out very well showing the big one. Not quite so many small proms as recent, but a good example of the activity.
Cheers

Very nice Alexandra.
Thought I was missing out with having to wait 2 weeks between my solar fixes.

These are fabulous, Alexandra. Very rich in detail and sharp. I am always very impressed by what you can get out of your PST.
