Sun FD in H-Alpha and CaK 30th of October 2021

Post by arnedanielsen »

Dear friends,

It was supposed to be overcast and rain all weekend, but the weather changed for the better and I got a nice spell of clear skies around Noon both yesterday and today. I'm still working on processing todays images, but here are the images from yesterday.

FD image in H-Alpha using a Coronado 60mm/BF15 w/Beloptik ITF, stopped down to 50mm, Baader 35nm H-Alpha and ASI 178mm mounted on a SkyWatcher SolarQuest.

A superb set Arne, we also had a forecast for rain all weekend and we were blessed with sunshine too, with rain and gales :)

Alexandra

PS Did you see/image an aurora last night?
