THE SKY HAS SUDDENLY GONE ALL GREEN @ 2100z
From Norway, the Mega Aurora is well under-way and all evening since 18:00z a continuous display is occurring - so well worth a looksy..
Could well have been occurring during much earlier on the 31st..

Thanks Alexandros .
I don't think could be a cloud or haze layer as other cams are showing much colour albeit more in the blue..

I think I'm too far south to see it (20 degrees north), so thanks for posting a pic of it!

Will be watching the online cameras again tonight.
We are having random clear breaks, so if anything is active I hope to be able to get some images. I am at 44.5N, so borderline to get good views.

Re: THE SKY HAS SUDDENLY GONE ALL GREEN @ 2100z
Thanks Brian, but I fear the Aurora at 22:00z today/31-10-2021 maybe over, as the best all-sky-cam is showing this green-cover over the whole field-of-view from Norway.
Comparing to other available cams, the activity seems to have diminished to almost nothing and I suspect the green-view is either fog or an inversion-layer which for some odd reason is showing as green.
I've compared that cam to the previous set of images I've kept and stars and the Milky Way show clearly against the expected dark-sky, so it maybe that this particular camera is somehow picking the green from a very faint green aurora at present. Can't define stars at this time...
Still worth keeping an eye on these cams Brian, but as said earlier I expect that the main parts of this Aurora actually occurred during our day-times...
Having said that - a quick look again at a different camera show that "not is all over yet."
Cheers
Terry

I'll keep an eye out and see if I get lucky.
The sky has completely overcast now as it is getting dark, the satellite animation shows intermittent clearing is possible.

I hope the satellite is not telling "porkies" Brian and that you do get a looksy.
Ordinary cameras may well capture some that you can't see yourself.
Just looking at the latest Aurora Chart, you may be in a chance...

Thanks Terry,
My magnetometer data confirm that there’s ongoing geomagnetic activity.
