AR2887 near solar limb on Nov1

Post by gabrieli »

A chilly, partially sunny morning presented itself today with jittery seeing. The clouds became became more closely packed eventually and I managed to pack up before light rain started. I knew I had some half decent files.
I used my LS152 double stacked with a Quark Chromosphere since that combination produces a dependable
contrasty image with no double limb. I recorded using a 2/3" 5.1Mp Blackfly S.

It does look like a fiery snake and the spot is it's hole!
