I assume you don't really mean "Witches" Peter !! haha They won't help you.

One of the easiest to use programs which will work directly with your mount are:-
Starry Night available at a modest cost from suppliers as the latest version is Starry Night Pro 8 or via the web as:-
https://store.simulationcurriculum.com
I have been using for some years Starry Night Pro v.6, which works perfectly well with my scopes and pc's to control such from the screen.
Depends on the mount and the computer and the Windows platform... :D

Some websites show as possible "free" downloads, but beware these might not have the auto updates from Starry Night and may also have other problems too.

Another used by many including even professionals is:-
"Cartes du Ciel" as freeware and downloadable from the web. "Sky Chart / Cartes du Ciel" from Sourceforge can be found at:-
https://sourceforge.net/projects/skychart/ and is used by many, including myself. Can also remotely operate some mounts from pc's..

There are others too, which can be found on the internet, such as "THE SKY" etc..

You will always need to input your latitude/longitude/location details to allow these programs to see the sky from your location... :?:

Best Wishes :bow
Terry

+1 for Cartes du Ciel .
It does everything you can ask for. Has many extensive catalogues to cover any area of interest.

Hi,
Stellarium for me. It's free, does everything I need for the scope control and there's a wealth of "You Tube" videos to help you if needed.
