Another new AR as 289(7) is within the North-East Limb today.

Thanks Mark and today has been very clear most of the day and into the night too, so was able to trial the 2nd usage of the mini-obsy for Jupiter. But the Moon was too-high and in any case at 93% was responsible for adding to the light-pollution.

In fact to think about it, we must blame the Sun for having reflecting its' light from the Moon. Oh dear - back to Solar observing days...

Cheers Stu, as just said elsewhere, a high-pressure region should bring clear skies to many parts of the UK, but at the price of being much colder than of the recent un-seasonable warmth.
