Solar on Nov. 18th. ES127APO+QUARK+ Apollo-M MAX (IMX432) cam

Post by MoonPrince »

Hi Guys, today's Sun image all done. Very lucky day to see a new thing AKA "filament" on Solar surface. It's my first time to capture such thing, it looks very cute. In another image, there is an active area, one big prominence.

Some one asked my filter, it's a Quark with UV IR-cut filter. My friend suggest to put an 30nm Ha filter before Quark as a ERF.

Hi Brian, I replace UV IR-cut filter in next day with a R filter. I think it will be better to block heat. ES127+QUARK+Apollo-M MAX is impressived me a lot.

Thanks a lot, man. I will try solar mosaic in next clear day. I did a lot of lunar mosaic before, but not sure if solar is as easy as lunar :D
