Sunday and Monday Sun 21st/22nd November 2021

Post by Carbon60 »

A bunch of images from Sunday and Monday in Ha and CaK. The large filament is the dominant feature and looks splendid in hydrogen alpha. I'm wondering if it will collapse and create a Hyder flare later this week. We'll have to see.

21st Images:

Ha FD mosaic. A bit patchy with variable seeing, but it's that time of year.....

A superb set, Stu: you captured the large filament perfectly and the proms too. Love your FD's.

Indeed Stu as Franco has said and in fact some of the very best close-up's I've ever seen - anywhere, including SD of course...

Very well done and thanks for sharing

Congratulation on such lovely FDs and closeups, especially like the detail in the hooked filament.
