Sun on 24th, Nov, 2021, ES127+Quark+Apollo-M MAX cam, fair seeing

Post by MoonPrince »

Very clear sky today, Seeing looks fair for imaging. Looking around of the edge of the Sun, I found that a lot of perminences. That would be very lucky to shot so many perminence in one day. I took about 7 different area. And use a reverse pattern in post-processing.

This camera has a tilt plate on it, only 2mm tilt will be able to eliminate newton ring.

For better result, I still recommend to take flat frame (I record 500 frames make a master flat) . After flat calibration in Autostakkert, all parts will have same brightness. That would be very easy for post-processing.

Oh, I can see very sharp preview in Sharpcap, I think this camera works perfect with quark, very high SNR.

Thanks, Franco. I checked thoes image on the screen in my home, looks a little dim. I just redo some processing and upload again. Looks like the screen in my office is too colorful.
