Dear friends,
Today's FD images in H-Alpha and CaK taken at a solar altitude of 9 degrees. Hazy skies and poor seeing. :-(

Terrific set Arne it looks like the big filament may not make it to the western limb after all

Hi Arne, great FD. You do wonders with such a low Sun. I went to your Astrobin page, and saw a close-up from September 8th, I think I missed it on Solarchat. This is a great photo, wow! Did you shoot it through the quark?
