Well after a sleepless night (whilst having to do something different through the night), whilst just before mid-day the Old Sol beckoned though the blue skies and cold (+2Degs.C.) with a chilly breeze from the North...
No worries though as the mini-obsy caters well in the cold...
Anyhow the intention was to concentrate on improving Sodium-imaging with some very-useful advice from Stu(Carbon60) and Mark T.
But Alas even after capturing over 20-Gbytes of data in the short-timed session allowed, Sodium still hasn't shown any real improvement yet, although there are stacks of capture-files still to be processed... A possible cause could be the Orion ED80T-CF scope...
By about half-way through the session, I decided that just to finely-tune for White Light imaging of the spots and any porridge that might be showing-up.
As the attached image shows, taking 3,000-frames and with AutoStakkert just stacking 10% for example here, has helped to prove both focusing accuracy as well as gaining the best of those frames. So thanks Stu ...
ImPPG was used successfully with a little more learning as "how to" - improved the stacked image.
Although the seeing was a tad "wobbly", my image does somewhat compare to SDO for a FD image and maybe some Barlow use on the spots should allow for a decent close-up.
A change in the scope being used and also one of the ZWO mono-cameras is also envisaged, although this week I have other things that must be done and completed...
Enjoy and the techie-stuff is below here...

It looks like you picked up most of what I saw visually today. You seem to have displeasure with your Orion80 a lot. I really love my little Orion70. It does good for what it is.

Terrific Terry
I think you will find using the mono camera together with the above will give you the biggest improvement of all

Terry, well done, can you brighten a little? I looked from my phone and at first I thought you posted two SDO shots.

Re: 28-11-2021 Training, Experimental Session today...
Thank you Jacinto, James, Eric, Alexandra, Franco and Ivan.
James, I'll happily swap your 70 for my 80, but then I couldn't without going through the various design and manufacturing faults of my 80, where neither the supplier or manufacturer even acknowledged my complaint. That was not only bad-customer service, but no customer-service at all...!!!
I have no doubts either Alexandra, that using one of the ASI-178MM cams, should/will improve the situation as well as changing the scope too..
The main-reason for choosing and using the colour camera in the mini-obsy was to get some coloured Lunar-captures.
Might take a few days to change camera and scope, as not only have to complete another large task, but also that low-down Sun keeps falling out of the sky-view...
That's a little strange about the brightness Ivan, as yesterday it seemed fine, but not today, so I have increased the brightness - which I hope you will find more pleasing. Also to note that the angle of most LCD/LED screens from the viewer - often changes the brightness/contrast.
Best Wishes
Terry

Nice result Terry, are you using a continuum filter with the Lunt wedge?
