Eric,
This is a really nice set of images. All of them! However my favorites are the two Ha full discs and the top CaK full disc. the proms show up very well in the CaK images and the detail in the Ha full discs are amazing. I love how the filaments stand out in bright relief on the inverted negative image. The mottles are resolved into their spicule clusters and they finely cover the solar disc. I just wish I could see in the way your images show the Sun!

Two thumbs up!!

James

These are fantastic Eric, are your CaK and Halpha discs taken at a similar time? your images with the proms show almost identical results to Doug's images with his SHG. The Halpha SE proms have intense 'trunks' whereas the CaK proms do not show this. The structure is very different.

Nice work! :bow :hamster:

Alexandra and James, thanks for the comments.
Alexandra, I first take the FD with the Solarmax 90-DS, then the Ha with the Stellarvue-Daystar and then the CaK FD with the Meade 102mm f/9.
I do this because I have to change the length of the adapters and filter of the SKYnyx 2.2 camera for the CaK images.
Have a good and safe week.
Eric.
